“Evolving Faster Than the Fraudster: Elevating East Africa from Global Fraud Vulnerabilities”
4th ACFE Uganda Chapter Regional Anti-Fraud Conference
Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) – Uganda Chapter (#147)
Evolving Faster Than the Fraudster: Elevating East Africa from Global Fraud Vulnerabilities
300+ C-suite executives, Chief Risk Officers, Internal Auditors, Compliance Directors, Legal Counsel, Forensic Investigators, IT Security Experts and Regulatory Leaders across East Africa.
Two days of keynotes, plenary panels, breakout tracks, exhibition, networking and an awards/gala dinner.
Five tiered packages plus bespoke and in-kind partnership opportunities.
East Africa’s rapidly digitizing economy, expanding cross-border payment networks and emerging financial technologies have heightened exposure to sophisticated global fraud schemes. From AI-synthesized identity theft and deepfakes to cross-border money laundering and insider threats, modern fraudsters operate with unprecedented agility.
Organizations can no longer rely on reactive controls alone. This regional conference is designed as a strategic catalyst to equip decision-makers with proactive threat intelligence, adaptive forensic technology and harmonized cross-border defense frameworks.
Leveraging AI, machine learning and predictive analytics to detect anomalies before exposure occurs.
Harmonizing judicial and investigative mechanisms across EAC partner states to mitigate transnational financial crime.
Strengthening institutional governance, tone-at-the-top and human-layer security controls.
Mitigating risks in real-time payments, open banking and crypto-asset flows.
Four years of advancing fraud awareness, professional excellence and cross-border collaboration in East Africa.
Managing the fraud risk through collaborations.
Explored the future of fraud detection, digital forensics and financial integrity through keynotes and panel sessions.
Safeguarding Integrity in the Virtual World – Responding to Deepfakes and Insider Threat-Driven Fraud.
