Dear ACFE Uganda Chapter Members and the general public, thanks a lot for supporting International Fraud Awareness Week, which ran from 13th – 19th November 2022. We had many corporate clients express interest, but we could only cover 8 companies including SWICO, Mercantile Bank, and DTB. Now we need to follow up on corporate membership.
We thank you all for the support and availability to share your skills and experience.
Please if you participated as a Trainer, do send us your request for the Ugx. 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand) Facilitation Fee as promised, and the bank account details, or mobile money number and names registered to enable us to send the money.
We thank you once again for your support and involvement in the chapter affairs. All trainers qualify for Five (5) Ethics and Community Service Continuing Professional Education Hours of ACFE International, which you can use for your annual CPE compliance reporting.
We look forward to your support next year; by planning and encouraging your company to participate as a sponsor or participant. Next year, the International Fraud Awareness Week shall run from 12th to 18th November 2023. Please plan. Let us know the support you need from the ACFE Uganda Chapter to participate fully and promote your value to your organization and the CFE as a leader in fraud risk management.
To claim your CPE hours, do send us the topic you presented, the company you presented to, the people in attendance, and your full names the way you would love them shown on the CPE Certificate.
I encourage all of you to pay your local chapter fees of Ugx. 200,000 (two hundred thousand shillings only) annual fees. Also let us know whether you would be interested in your name being nominated for possible appointment as a board member on the risk committee, as we are getting more requests to nominate names of anti-fraud and cyber risk experts to serve on boards. If yes, do share your updated CV with the Chapter administrator.
